Black Oxide finish is the same used on original Glock pistols prior to 2003.
Offers great wear resistance and rust protection and has the ability to absorb oils, waxes and lacquers enhancing the appearance while protecting the barrel.
The matte finish also reduces light glare, lowering eye fatigue under intense light conditions over long periods of time.
Refinish runs once each month. Your parts must arrive at Lone Wolf the week prior to the start of the run. Approximately 4-6 week turn around time.

Please Note:

We currently only offer this service on Glock O.E.M. parts and our Lone Wolf parts.
If sending in your own slide please disassemble it completely (including the channel liner) before sending it in. After removing the channel liner you'll need to replace it with a new one, which can be purchased here.
Sights must be removed prior to refinishing. Some types of sights must be destroyed to be removed. Customers must be aware of this fact prior to sending in items to be refinished. We can install new sights, if purchased at the same time.
If ordering black oxide with other items the whole order will be held back and be shipped when black oxide is finished. If you need the other items before black oxide is done please order them on a separate order.
Black oxide does not include blindmarking parts. If you require the parts to be blindmarked please add LWD-BM to cart.
